von Powderfinger. Ich weiß, ich habe Powderfinger hier schon einmal vorgestellt, aber sie haben ein neues Album rausgebracht…naja…so neu auch nicht mehr und es dudelt auch teilweise im Auto bei mir…aber diesen Song hier mag ich ganz besonders gerne…und hier ist der Songtext

OZ-Musik

Ich möchte euch noch ein paar Musiker vorstellen. Da es dieses Mal mehrere sind, werde ich keine youtube Videos hier einbauen.

Fange ich mit den The Panics an. Die machen easy Musik für die Ohren. Gefallen mir gut. Powderfinger könntet ihr eventuell schon kennen, ich glaube die haben auch schon in Europa getourt. Silverchair ist nicht ganz so mein Geschmack, aber manchmal liegts auch nur an meiner Stimmung, wenn ich bestimmte Bands oder Songs gerade nicht so doll finde. Auf jeden Fall hat Silverchair auf ihrer Webseite alle Songs der neuen CD zum richtigen anhören und nicht nur zum reinhören. Und das finde ich sehr konsumerfreundlich. Dann ist da noch das John Butler Trio, das sogenannte Bluegrass-Musik macht. Eine Mischung aus Jazz-, Blues- und Rockmusik. Ich habe eine CD aus 2004 und die gefällt mir ganz gut. Aber auch hier gilt, es kommt auf meine Stimmung an. British India hat bislang nur eine Seite auf MySpace. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall mal auf youtube deren Video Tie up my hands anzuschauen. Ach sind die noch jung. Das Video wurde in Melbourne in und um Flinders Street Station (runter scrollen, da gibs historische Bilder), dem schönen gelben Bahnhof gedreht. Die Stimme des Sängers ist nicht umwerfend gut, aber irgendwie macht gerade das den Charme aus. Ich werde auf jeden Fall weiterhin mein Ohr auf diese Band haben und schauen wie sie sich entwickelt. Jet ist eine Band, die auch klasse Musik macht. Die meisten hier vorgestellten Bands haben Songs auf youtube oder ihren MySpace-Webseiten. Reinhören lohnt sich - wie ich finde.

 

Australischer Musiker

Xavier Rudd - australischer Musiker - macht so geile Musik - einfach fantastisch. Leider kann ich den Song Land Rights auf Youtube nicht finden, aber dieser hier (Better People)ist auch super. Das neue Album heißt White Moth - love it love it love it.
